Chicken Paprikash

Nothing like a big bowl of flavorful Paprikash with fresh dark breads and a cool beverage….mmmmm


1 lb. chicken
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. oil
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. paprika

Cook onions and oil together for a few minutes. Add paprika, meat and salt. Add 1/2 cup water. Put lid on pan; cook slowly approximately an hour. Add 1 1/2 tablespoon flour – sprinkle over meat and add sour cream.


1 1/2 c. flour
1 egg
Pinch of salt
Warm water

Mix ingredients with enough warm water to medium-thick consistency. Put on plate and drop off small pieces into boiling water. Cook 5 to 10 minutes. Drain. Serve chicken over noodles.
